Foster + Partners designs Apple Bağdat Caddesi - Istanbul’s Apple store

Apple Bağdat Caddesi, inaugurated on October 22, is the third Apple Store in Turkey located in the lively avenue from which it takes its name, just a few steps from the sea in one of the busiest areas of Istanbul, a popular destination for shopping and international tourism. The project is the result of the collaboration between the Foster + Partners architecture studio together with the Apple design team, closely reflecting the concept that characterises all of the company’s stores.

House of Wisdom designed by Foster+Partners seen through Shoayb Khattab’s lens

House of Wisdom, the large library designed by the Foster + Partners studio - and recalling Mies van der Rohe’s style - in Sharjah, Dubai, was the subject of the photographic project by director and photographer Shoayb Khattab, winning the prestigious Architizer+ 2021 award in the Photography + Video category.

Foster + Partners designs Apple Store in Via del Corso in Rome

On May 27 the new Apple store located in Via del Corso in Rome opened its doors. The project designed by the Foster + Partners architectural firm, in collaboration with the Apple Creative Team, has brought Palazzo Marignoli back to life, a historic building originally constructed in 1873 by architect Salvatore Bianchi and later subjected to an extensive renovation by architect Giulio Podesti.

Foster + Partners designs Hankook Technoplex headquarters in Pangyo, Seoul

The Foster + Partners architecture firm has designed the new Hankook headquarters, South Korean company specialised in the production of tires. Built in Pangyo, on the outskirts of Seoul, the new building has been conceived to go beyond the corporate vision of a classic and hierarchical entrepreneurship, offering flexible and dynamic workspaces and becoming the symbol of a constantly evolving and future-oriented corporate culture.

Foster and Partners designs the Apple Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, a store floating on water

For its third store in Singapore, Apple has inaugurated a space that promises an unforgettable experience for its customers. A self-supporting domed structure made entirely of glass, which makes the store appear like a floating sphere on Marina Bay’s waters, a precious gemstone and a celebration of light. The project was designed by the Foster and Partners architectural firm in collaboration with Apple’s design team.

Foster + Partners Apple Central World a new iconic store for Bangkok

7月31日在曼谷看到正式开通的应用le Central World, the second and largest Apple store in Thailand. The building in Ratchaprasong, located at one of the Thai city’s iconic intersections, appears almost sculptural. The glass structure and large cantilevered wooden roof is supported by a central pillar. The project was designed by Foster + Partners design studio in collaboration with the Apple team and local architectural practices F&P (Thailand) Ltd. and Architects 49 Ltd.

Foster + Partners designs the new Apple Sanlitun store in Beijing

July 17, 2020 saw the official opening of the new Apple Sanlitun store designed by Foster + Partners studio in collaboration with the Cupertino company’s technical team. The store takes its name from the vibrant Sanlitun quarter in Beijing where it is located. The area chosen is once again in Taikoo square adjacent to the site of the previous showroom which was Apple’s first store in China, built in 2008.

The best new building in the United Kingdom is Foster + Partners’ Bloomberg project, winner of the 2018 RIBA Stirling Prize, announced on the evening of October 10.

Foster + Partners, Apple Piazza Liberty, Milan

At the end of July, a great opening party welcomed the new Apple Store in Milan. The project, by architecture firm Foster + Partners, involved the store as well as the renewal of the namesake public square.
